Vow Renewal Celebrations
When you want to say ‘I do’ – All over again.
A Renewal of Vows ceremony is the perfect way to reaffirm your love for each other and celebrate your partnership with family and friends. A joyful occasion – where we reflect upon your love story and celebrate your journey together in married life.
I can help you to create a personal ceremony – reflecting on who you are as a couple; celebrating your families’ personalities and heritage; and including unique elements that are centred on what matters most to you. In doing so, your day will be a happy, exciting and memorable event for everyone to enjoy.
You are free to choose the ‘perfect ‘location - a sandy beach, an old barn, in some woods, or even in your back garden.

Unity Candle Ceremony
The Unity Candle Ceremony is perhaps one of the most commonly performed rituals at a wedding ceremony. It is a special way to show the joining of families, the merging of two people and the first steps as a blended family.
At a Vow Renewal, the couple could light a unity candle along with their children or grandchildren to represent the love of the family as well as their love for each other.
Blessing For Your Marriage
May all that you are, always be in love; and may all that is love always be in you.
May your love be as beautiful on each day share; as it is on this day of celebration.
May each day you share be as precious to you; as the day you first fell in love.
May you always see and encourage the best in each other.
May the challenges life brings your way make your marriage even stronger.
And may you always be each others best friend and greatest love.
Wine Ceremony
A Wine Ceremony is a lovely symbolic ritual to include in your ceremony. The ritual can be done in various ways. It usually represents the coming together of two people, or two families.
A sweet wine is symbolic the good times to be faced together with happiness, joy, hope, peace, love and delight. A bitter wine is symbolic of the bad times faced together with disappointment, sorrow, grief, despair, and life’s trials and tribulations. The ritual of the ceremony turns an ordinary event of pouring and drinking wine into one with a special meaning.
A Quaich Ceremony
Couples looking to add something vintage but unique to their ‘renewal of vows’ ceremony, may want to consider adding a ‘quaich ceremony’ to their plans. This involves using a traditional Scottish two-handled cup known as a quaich or as it is sometimes called the “loving cup”.
During a ceremony, the couple fill the quaich together and then they offer each other the whisky (or another beverage). The cup can also be shared with family members to symbolise the union of the two families.
